Naval Air Station North Island, part of Naval Base Coronado, occupies the northern end of Coronado Island and is known as the birthplace of naval aviation. Whether you are visiting a loved one stationed on base, attending a homecoming or ceremony, or traveling for official business, El Cordova Hotel offers a comfortable, convenient home base just minutes from the main gate.
NAS North Island is home port to Navy aircraft carriers and numerous aviation squadrons, so the base welcomes a steady flow of families, contractors and visiting personnel throughout the year. The main gate at 300 Alameda Boulevard, at the end of Third Street, is an easy drive from our Orange Avenue location. Base access requires approved identification or a sponsor, so check with your host before you arrive.
